A December Filled With Festive Joy

What a season it has been at George’s Greek Village. The restaurant sparkled with festive
décor, warm lights, and the unmistakable aroma of great Greek cooking—creating the
perfect backdrop for a month overflowing with joy.

We welcomed an incredible lineup of guests throughout December: families gathering after
long distances apart, friends reconnecting over shared plates, and small and large groups
filling our banquet hall with laughter, clinking glasses, and holiday cheer. The energy was
unforgettable.

New Year’s Eve was the perfect finale. Two fully booked seatings at 5 pm and 7 pm enjoyed
our special Surf & Turf Kebob feature—a heartwarming, celebratory meal that set the tone
for a beautiful start to the new year.

Seasonal Favourites That Stole the Show

This holiday season brought a surge in our beloved Family Platters—available for 2 or 4
people—offering the perfect takeout solution for busy families craving a comforting,
home-style Greek meal.

Gift-giving was made easy too. Our George’s Gift Cards (available in $20–$100) were a hit
once again, helping customers share the gift of great taste with friends, coworkers, and those
“hard-to-buy-for” loved ones.

And of course, no Greek Christmas is complete without Kourabiedes. Our traditional Greek
Christmas cookies—made from George’s mom’s cherished recipe—flew off the shelves by the
piece, half-dozen, and dozen. A sweet taste of tradition that made its way into countless
homes and gift baskets.

We are honoured to have WON the Best Greek category in the Reader’s Choice Awards. This
recognition means the world to us because it comes directly from our community—those
who dine with us, support us, and cheer us on!

❤️ $76,070 Raised for Community Care

Our Chicken Kebob Meal Deal, which donates $2 from every sale to Community Care,
reached an astounding $76,070 this year. This achievement reflects the generosity of our
customers and the power of shared purpose!

🌟 George Receives the Tom Tronzo Award

Earlier this year, George was deeply honoured to receive the Tom Tronzo Award from
Community Care of St. Catharines. This award recognizes individuals who embody Tom
Tronzo’s inspiring motto: “If we all pull together, we can get the job done.”
We couldn’t imagine a more fitting tribute to George’s heart for service and community

Looking Ahead With Gratitude and Excitement

As we close the chapter on an extraordinary 2025, our hearts are full. We are grateful for
every guest who walked through our doors, every smile shared, every meal enjoyed and
every moment spent together. It is hard to believe we celebrated 9 years this year!
