Tamwood Camp Kids Enjoy a Meal in Our Banquet Hall

July was sizzling with excitement at George’s Greek Village as it is such an amazing and BUSY time at the restaurant!

We kicked it off with one of our favourite traditions: welcoming the amazing kids from Tamwood International Camp!

Every summer, we’re honoured to host the international campers from Tamwood Camp, a vibrant educational/camp program based at the University of Toronto and Mississauga.

Tamwood offers children and teens aged 7–17 a safe and enriching experience filled with sightseeing, learning, and unforgettable memories. After a day of exploring iconic Niagara landmarks, these bright young adventurers join us for a feast of authentic Greek cuisine, laughter, and connection.

Tom Tronzo was a long-standing board member of Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold who deeply believed in the power of community and collective action. His legacy lives on through the annual Tom Tronzo Award, which honours individuals who embody his inspiring motto: “If we all pull together, we can get the job done.”

🍽️ Weekend Features That Dazzled

George went above and beyond this July to craft a lineup of weekend feature dishes that added a burst of variety to our already beloved full menu. Here are just a few of the mouthwatering highlights:

Loukaniko Appetizer Delight

A flavourful Greek sausage tossed into a colourful medley of fresh vegetables and herbs — a true taste of the Mediterranean and the perfect start to any meal!

Stuffed Branzino

A fish lover’s dream! This delicate branzino (European Sea Bass) is filled with a succulent crab and feta mixture that melts in your mouth.

12 oz Rib-Eye Dinner

For our meat lovers, this juicy, perfectly grilled rib-eye is a hearty favourite.

Lamb Shank Dinner

Slow-cooked to perfection, this dish is rich, tender, and packed with traditional Greek flavour. It is a TOTAL CROWD FAV and we LOVE serving it up!

Every dish is made with love and care, and George personally ensures that each feature brings something special to your table.
